Mechanical Engineer

Guilford, CT / Full-time / Engineering /

Role

Sorian Aerospace is building autonomous supersonic aircraft for advanced training and test. Sandman is an unmanned supersonic trainer. Unforgiven is a fighter-class advanced trainer designed for piloted and unmanned operation. Both aircraft share a common foundation across autonomy, avionics, flight controls, and aircraft systems.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design, build, and test the mechanisms, installations, and mechanical flight hardware that connect those systems into a working aircraft. Your scope may include actuators, linkages, hinges, latches, equipment mounts, propulsion and avionics installations, landing systems, and ground-support hardware.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who can take hardware from a blank CAD window through drawings, manufacturing, assembly, and test.
